The Oracle Program

Are you one of Lost Lands’ new Oracles?

Since the dawn of human civilization, humans have sought guidance and knowledge from Oracles which exist to inspire growth and change in the seeker. After gaining this knowledge, the seeker ventures back out into the world, returning to their communities and sharing this newfound consciousness and wisdom.

What knowledge or skill do you hold inside which might inspire or connect the Lost Lands Family?

This year we are seeking new Oracles from the community to host workshops and meet-ups, or teach skills, classes, and crafts at the Discovery Center in the campgrounds’ Village Marketplace.

Apply below for a chance to become an integral part of Lost Lands and build community within the festival and beyond.

Application closes Sept. 4th at 11:59pm PT.

DO submit ideas such as:

• Basic Crafting, Primitive Skills, Art
• Yoga, Breathwork, Meditation, Wellness
• Themed Meet-Ups
• Dance Instruction
• Basic Flow Arts
• Interactive Lectures which Inspire Audience Participation

DO NOT submit the following:

• Anything non-interactive or non-participatory
• Anything that requires Powerpoint, projection or TVs
• Anything overtly religious or political
• Anything involving food, drink or tobacco
• Workshops over 60 mins or that involve lengthy set-up or tear down
• DJ parties or live bands
• Requests for participation from an artist on the lineup

Submissions will be based on the following criteria:

• Originality
• Interactivity
• Appropriateness
• Impact
• Ease of execution
• Charisma

Selected Oracles Will Receive

• General Admission Festival Wristbands (maximum of 3)
• One (1) GA Car Camping Pass
• Two (2) Vendor Tokens
• The opportunity to present at least once during the event

Rules

• Limit one workshop per form submission. If an applicant would like to propose more than one workshop, please submit the form multiple times.
• The Oracle Program submission process is private. Lost Lands will share only the concept of the final workshops once they have been selected and confirmed.
• The program will require Oracle Program participants to be present, prepared, accountable for meetings, and their scheduled workshop. Please do not apply if not committed to participating.
• Selected Oracles must provide their own transport to and from the event.
• Selected Oracles must provide their own camping supplies.
• Workshops may not feature fire, pyrotechnics, food or beverages, drug references, or any dangerous or offensive aspects.
